Interviews for Film Commissioner to be Public

The search for a new state film commissioner is coming closer to an end. Twelve finalists out of a reported field of more than 50 applicants will have interviews in a meeting that is open to the public. This meeting will be held in Tallahassee on Wednesday, December 19th starting at 2pm.
The final twelve candidates are:
Alec Colley (Panavision Florida), Todd Thompson (director/Stars North), Charles Bregg (commercial director), Tom Fallon (UPM/location manager), George Fernandez, Lucia Fishburne, James Beardon (actor), John Dussling (Florida Film & Tape), Hollis Batchelor (SAG), Errol Falcon (director/producer), Marc Paneque, and Ronaldo da Silva (MTV - Latin America).
They will be interviewed by Dale Brill (Director of the Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development, Larry Ringers (Chief of Staff to Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp), Paul Sirmons (current State Film Commissioner), Graham Winick (Miami Beach Film Commissioner), Katie Waters (Chair of the Florida Film & Entertainment Advisory Council), and Todd Roobin (Jacksonville Film Commissioner).
The meeting will be held in a large conference room on the Plaza Level of the Capitol. If you plan to attend, ask for specific directions at the Governor's lobby desk.
