Films selected for 2008 MegaCon Indie Film Expo

A number of cutting-edge award-winning independent films have been selected for presentation at this year's Megacon. Megacon's Indie Film Expo showcases cutting-edge short independent films in the genres of action, animation, anime, comedy, super-heroes, science fiction, suspense, and horror.

The fantastic nine films have been chosen by 3 Boys Productions, the founders of the Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival and coordinators of the Indie Film Expo, for their Friday night program at Megacon on March 7th at 6:30 -8 pm in Auditorium S230A of the Orange County Convention Center.

 As part of Megacon's "Indie Film Expo" program, a panel discussion on filmmaking will be hosted by "Students of the Unusual" publisher Terry Cronin on Saturday March 8th. This will feature guest filmmakers and actors including confirmed guests Dan Creagan, Alex Ferrari, Paula Garces, Katharine Leis, Pat Martin, Todd Thompson and Bill Williams (FMPTA). Other surprise celebrity guests and filmmakers are expected. Cronin relates that "this is a unique opportunity to meet and discuss independent filmmaking with the filmmakers themselves."
