Film Slam #2 Winners Announced

Film Slam #2 for 2008 was held Sunday, February 10th at the Enzian Theater in Maitland.
Host John Theisen asked by a show of hands how many people had ever been to the Film Slam and it looked like half. The theater itself also looked like it was half filled.
There were 7 film entries. They include Superhero by SOLMI, Entombed by Steven Shea, Trevor by Banks Helfrich, TANG! by Elizabeth Anne, Batteries Made Easy by Will Malone, ISIS by Benjamin Stinson, and Captain Midnight and the Secret Squadron: Zero Hour by Glenn Bain and Jorge Maura.
The first place film, Batteries Made Easy, will be screened again at the end of the year as part of the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase.
Second place was Captain Midnight and the Secret Squadron: Zero Hour and third place was Superhero.
