Registration is Open for 48 Hour Film Project

The 48 Hour Film Project is coming to Orlando the weekend of September 24, 2021. The project is for everyone. Professional, amateur, and enthusiasts are encouraged to challenge themselves and make a short film in 48 hours time using the rules to complete the project.

At the start of the competition, each team picks a genre out of a hat for their film. You will also be assigned a character, a prop, and a line of dialogue for the film to be included in the final piece.

Filmmakers can win awards in many categories upon completion. The best films from each geographical location participating will be submitted for a national competition.

This is the 20th year of the 48HFP and it has been taking place in Orlando since 2008. This year's city producers are Christina Carmona and Nando Roman.
