Miami Film Festival will be March 4-13, 2022. The 39th edition of the festival has filmmakers submitting their work for cash awards totaling over $100,000 in competition categories. On Thursday, December 2, the
festival poster by artist Raul Monge was revealed.
Tickets are on sale now and you can attend in-person theater events as well as online films. The festival will open with Spanish comedy THE GOOD BOSS (El Buen Patron) starring Javier Bardem. Following the film, the Walter Mercado Extravaganza will take place at the Alfred I Dupont Building. Festival highlights include the masterclass and panels program, Five Features from Domincan Republic, MFF After-Hours, Desserts and Directors, a Tropical Disco Awards Party at Freedom Tower and the Awards night film Panama's PLAZA CATEDRAL.
The 2022 Awards Ceremony will be held at Adrienne Arsht Center on March 12 at 7p.m. The following awards will be given out:

$55,000 Knight Made in MIA Award
$25,000 Knight MARIMBAS Award
$10,000 HBO Ibero-American Feature Film Award
$10,000 Jordan Ressler First Feature Award
$ 5,000 Miami International Short Film Award
Alacran Music in Film Award
Following the awards will be the Plaza Catedral screening.
