The Who Hits Back 2002 North American Tour is underway. The band prepared for the tour at a familiar space, G-Star Studios in West Palm Beach, Florida. Many stars return two, three, and even four times, but The Who just set the G-Star Studios record for the most repeat visits (5 visits according to Roy Lamb, The Who Tour Director).
"We are calling the return of The Who 'Triumphant' for another very special reason," said Greg Hauptner, the G-Star Studios and School Founder. "Finally, after 2 1/2 years of Covid shutdowns, our students are back on sets again doing what they love!"
For eight days, The Who returned with a 35-piece orchestra to rehearse for their Hollywood, Florida start of the tour April 22, 2022 at Hard Rock Live. G-Star had 25 students working on set. The students when done had assembled and made functional 80 percent of the set. The students are learning from professional crew of lighting, rigging, and grip workers from Above the Mark, a world wide rigging company that does concerts for Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Elton John, and Billie Eilish. They are located in Palm Beach Gardens.
