MEGACON ORLANDO is commencing this weekend May 19-22, 2022 at the Orange County Convention Center. Celebrity Guests: Lorraine Bracco from The Sopranos, WWE stars Kevin Owens, Ric Flair and the Undertaker, Actor Brendan Fraser, The Karate Kid's Ralph Macchio, Martin Kove and William Zabka, Lord of the Rings stars Elijah Woods, Sean Astin, Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan, Star Trek's Levar Burton and Brent Spiner, The Mandalorian's Giancarlo Esposito and Gina Carano, Chris Sarandon from the original Fright Night, Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes of Clerks and more are making appearances. Voice actors, comic creators, cosplayers, and tattoo artists will also be active on the showroom floor.
Events include Autograph Alley, Panels and Workshops, Horror, Sci-Fi, Anime, Comics, and Cosplay Red Carpet. The Halloween Horror Picture Show is an annual feature of the events calendar. The line-up includes short and feature length films. The screenings run all day with MC of Mayhem, Rick Danford, popping into the theater to lead the audience in Horror Trivia and prizes of horror DVDs.
