The 48 Hour Film Project Orlando will be August 26-28, 2022. This is a challenge to write, shoot and edit a short film over a weekend and see it Premiere on a BIG screen. First timers, hobbyists, amateurs to professionals are welcome to participate.
Winners of the Orlando challenge will have their films go up against films from around the world in the Filmapalooza 2023 in Los Angeles. New this year, top three teams will be eligible for the soon-to-be announced 48HFP "Yes We Cannes" challenge in December.
Kickoff of the 48HFP will be Friday, August 26 from 6p.m.-7p.m. at the Florida Institute of Recording Sound and Technology located at 423 S. Keller Road, Orlando 32810. The drop-off event is virtual and will be 7:30p.m. on Sunday, August 28 via Cinema48. Premiere Screenings will be in September and Best Of Screening in October.
