The Melrose Film Festival celebrates the art of visual storytelling in short films, animation and music videos. The 2022 festival will be the 5th annual and will be all virtual. Online screenings will premiere on the festival's webpage on Friday, September 9th at 12pm and will remain accessible through Saturday, September 24th at 6pm.

The Melrose Film Festival says it received over 2,000 submissions from more than 90 countries. The program of screenings will include Animated Shorts, Documentaries, Micro Shorts, Music Videos and Short Films.

Melrose staff also plan to offer events on scene and character development, screenwriting, sound effects, 3D animation and motion capture on select dates throughout the festival.
