The Urban Film Festival in Miami, Florida will be September 2-4th. The three day event focuses on educating, exposing and providing distribution opportunities for the next generation of filmmakers. Urabnfilmfestivals.com is for creators by creators. Premier of BLOODLINE in HD and 15 year anniversary will be opening night, September 2, at The Lyric Theater (819 NW 2nd Avenue, 33136). Red carpet is at 7pm and screening at 8pm including a Q&A. Before the screening, join the "Welcome to Miami" Happy Hour at Red Rooster (920 NW 2nd Avenue, Overtown Miami) from 6-8pm with drinks and music by DJ Epps.
All of the Official Selection Screenings, Film Workshops and Industry Discussions are live and free of charge to ALL attendees. The festival will be a hybrid of in-person and livestream events. Saturday, September 3, look at the Master Class schedule taking place throughout the day. Directing, Acting, Cinematography, and Producing Master classes are all free to attend and will be held at the Center for Black Innovation (937 Northwest 3rd Avenue). The same day, the Lyric Theater will have a distribution panel, Music Video to Film education and Actors Path to Screen discussion. Screenings for the festival will also take place at the Dorsey Library in Overtown.
