The May 17th Film Slam winners have been announced.  Taking first place was Coffee & Pie which was written and produced Andrew Stoneham and directed by Catherine Smith.  Coffee & Pie had an interesting twist at the end that involved some camera/editing trickery.  During the Q&A, Andrew mentioned that they are collaborating on another film... something about coffee again.  They also worked together on First Time, which screened at the April Film Slam.  If you missed the Film Slam, you can view the short at http://vimeo.com/4206583 or press play below.

Coming in second place voting was Della.  It was directed and produced by Bob Jones and co-written by Jones and Martin Oshow.  Third place went to Mixed Blessings? - A Fairy Tale.  It was written and produced by Betty Comora and directed by Banks Helfrich.
