The 2023 Jacksonville Film Festival is happening February 3-5, 2023. The festival will take place at the WJCT Public Media studios, Jacksonville Public Library and the Jessie Ball DuPont Center. The festival celebrates Jacksonville's moviemaking history and encourages new generations of filmmakers to utilize the city as their canvas.
Hollywood films including Basic, Creature From the Black Lagoon, Cool Hand Luke, G.I Jane, Lonely Hearts, The Manchurian Candidate, 3 1/2 Minutes, 10 Bullets, The Devils Advocate, Tigerland, The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking, and Sunshine State are Jacksonville productions. The Jacksonville Film Festival screens hundreds of independent films to an audience of local, national and international festival goers.
