The Sunscreen Film Festival ran April 29 through May 3 in St Petersburg. This was their 4th annual fest.
Special appearances at this year's festival included Michael Rooker (Days of Thunder), Bill Cobbs (Night at the Museum), and Jeff Donovan (USA's Burn Notice).
Rooker and Cobbs were both in town to promote a short film they worked on in Orlando. The movie was Todd Thompson's This Man's Life, which happened to win the Best Florida Film award. Another film winning an award from Florida was Best Music Video for Snow by The Beauvilles which was directed by Jon Wolding.

Best Director: Tao Ruspoli - Fix
Best Narrative Feature Film: Yesterday Was a Lie - Directed by James Kerwin
Audience Award: I Am The Bluebird - Directed by Thomas Verrette
