MEGACON ORLANDO will be at the Orange County Convention Center March 30-April 2, 2023. This annual gathering of pop cultural enthusiasts is one of the largest comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, and gaming events in North America. The family friendly attractions, events and celebrities attract thousands of people to the four days of offerings.
Celebrity guests this year are Martin Kove (Cobra Kai), Mario Lopez, Mercedes Varnado (The Mandalorian), Steve Burns (Blues Clues), Henry Winkler, Ralph Macchio, Carl Weathers, Neve Campbell, Christina Ricci and more. Voice Actors, Comic Creators, Cosplayers and Tattoo Artists are also on the schedule to appear.
Former Chief Production Officer at Studio Ghibli, Hirokatsu Kihara will make a rare US appearance to educate fans about the art and history of the process of classic anime.
Local Florida Horror Filmmaker Rick Danford will be celebrating 20 years of THE HALLOWEEN HORROR PICTURE SHOW at Megacon in Screening Room S330CD. Screenings will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday with doors opening at 10 am and screening blocks running til 7pm on Friday, Saturday and till 5pm on Sunday.
