By Douglas Lorah
The Orlando Film Festival has begun its 4th annual event. It started in downtown Orlando on Wednesday evening. The biggest thing that sets this festival apart from others is the low ticket prices. All the movie screenings are free. VIP party events will cost you, but that is expected at any festival.
For the first time, the festival gets to make use of a real theater. They have been using the City Arts Factory until now. The OFF is being held at the Plaza Cinema Cafe.
The big wig the festival has brought in this year is Winter Park alum and Curb Your Enthusiasm actress Cheryl Hines. She is here to promote the film Serious Moonlight which she directed. It stars Meg Ryan, Timothy Hutton, Kristen Bell, and Justin Long. The special screening is Friday, November 6th.
