The winning short film from the October 10th Enzian Film Slam was Beachwatch which was written by Michelle Bretana and directed by Shawn Lee. It was an entry into the Orlando 48 Hour Film Project and took many of the awards there as well.
Second place went to Thank You For Calling by Lamar Williams and third place went to Beneath the Veil by Nicole Novaton.
The next Enzian Film Slam will take place on November 14th. This will be the last time the long standing host and programmer John Theisen will be working the stage at the Film Slam, so please come out and give him a thank you for his years of service to the film community.
He has already announced that he is passing the torch onto Tim Anderson. Tim will be taking over hosting beginning with the Film Slam in January.
