The winner of the Film Slam for June 2011 is Captain Fin by Kevin J. O'Neill's Olive Ranch Road Productions. Kevin wrote and directed the short film as well as co-produced it with Rob Tuscani. You can view the trailer at http://www.oliveranchroadproductions.com.
Captain Fin will now go on to the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase in December at the Enzian Theater with a chance to screen at next year's Florida Film Festival.
Second place went to
Greetings from the Abyss which was directed by Jason Bumpus and written by Tyler Bumpus. Third place went to the music video for the song
Meet Me on the Dance Floor by
Of Valleys. The video was directed by Steven Shea and his
Abyssmal Entertainment.
