SeaWorld Pictures formed in April of this year and its first release in cooperation with Hannover House is Turtle: The Incredible Journey.  Turtle is a documentary by National Geographic Explorer's Nick Stringer.  His team followed a loggerhead turtle from one of our Florida beaches to the North Atlantic and then to Africa and back over a 2 year period.  Turtle premiered at the 2009 Toronto International Film Festival.

SeaWorld Pictures is releasing Turtle on this Friday, June 24th in New York, Los Angeles, Orlando and in its other park cities of San Diego and San Antonio.  The theaters in Orlando that will have the film are Pointe Orlando and Oviedo Marketplace.

This release coincides with the SeaWorld San Diego opening of Turtle Reef.
