The winner of the December 11th Film Slam is the documentary film The Pursuit.  The Pursuit is a short about a young professional boxer from Winter Park.  It tells how the boxer got started as a boy in Mexico and goes through his team's and his own emotions before, during, and after a boxing match.  The Pursuit was written and directed by Andre Diaz.  It was produced by Andre Diaz and Kenny Williams.  By winning, The Pursuit has gained a slot in the 2012 Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase.

Second place went to The 8-Bit Hero by John Hammen Jr. and third place went to The Adventures of Monty Moudlyn by Zach Hibbard.
