The winner of the July 8th Film Slam was Pupsock & Wendell vs The Sky Pirates.  It was written and directed by Patrick Algermissen.  He previously worked on another Film Slam winning film A Dog Goes From Here to There.  He DP'd that short, which won in July 2010.  Pupsock & Wendell vs The Sky Pirates was produced by Thomas Mumme, who regularly works with Algermissen.  You can find updates on the short and watch a quick trailer at http://www.imtheawesome.com.

Second place went to Through You: Hanging on Hope by Adam Arnali.  Third place went to Pour Stars by Dean McDermitt.
