FilmLauderdale.org has announced a menu of incentives for the screen industry. The new slate of incentives have programs currently available and more available in November of 2023.

Currently available is a Film and TV Program that has a $400,000 minimum Broward spend, 15% rebate capped at $175,000.  Also available currently is Special Projects Program that has a $5MM minimum Broward spend, 10% rebate capped at $2MM.

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution No. 2021-518, creating a Film Commission and establishing film, television, and entertainment production project incentive programs. The programs will assist in attracting film and television productions to Broward County and/or South Florida region. The County programs are performance-based rebate programs and are based on Broward County centric criteria.
