In its third year, the Love Your Shorts Film Festival takes place Friday to Sunday this weekend in Sanford.  The screenings are held at the Wayne Densch Performing Arts Center at 201 S. Magnolia Avenue.

The shorts are grouped together by genre.  The festival starts off Friday evening at 7pm with a mixed genre.  The rest of schedule is as follows.

Saturday

10:30am - “E” for Everyone (family friendly)

1:00pm - Documentary

3:00pm - Animation

5:00pm - Filmmakers Panel (free to attend)

8:00pm - Comedy

10:00pm - Sci-Fi / Horror

Sunday

1:00pm - Drama

3:00pm - Florida Flavor (filmed in Florida or made by Floridians)

7:00pm - Best of the Festival

Tickets for each group of shorts is $8 each with the exception of the E for Everyone group only costing $2 per ticket.  You can get a weekend pass for $55.  Tickets and more information are available at www.loveyourshorts.com.
