Florida Oscar Watch Parties are happening throughout the state on March 10th when ABC will broadcast the ceremony live from Los Angeles. The 96th Academy Awards broadcast show will have a new start time of 7p.m. and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. Nicholas Cage, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Jessica Lange, Matthew McConaughey, Lupita Nyong’o, Michelle Pfeiffer, Ke Huy Quan, Sam Rockwell, Michelle Yeoh, Mahershala Ali, and Zendaya will present at the 96th Oscars ceremony. The show runner is Raj Kapoor and executive producers will be Molly McNearney and Katy Mullan. The following are watch parties planned through out the state of Florida to see the evening's award show broadcast.
The Enzian Theater in Maitland will hold an Oscar Watch Party with doors at 6pm and the show beginning at 7pm. There are no table reservations for this event and seating is first come first serve. The third annual SINGHAUS Scholarship for the Performing Arts Oscar Party will be held at the ABBEY. Hosted by Ginger Mini and Gidget Galore, doors will open at 5:30pm. A special performance by Darcel Stevens is also planned. The red carpet and entertainment begin at 6pm and the Oscar show begins at 7pm. The Tampa Theatre will hold its Annual Hollywood Awards Night 2024 for Bay-area film fans. The red carpet will be at 5:30pm under the historic Franklin Street Marquee. Inside free popcorn and sodas, games, prizes, the Red Carpet live pre-show on the big screen and a cash bar will be available. Evening goers are encouraged to dress in costume as characters representing this year's movie stars i.e. KEN. The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival is CELEBRATING THE STARS UNDER THE STARS with the AWARDS WATCH PARTY where corks will pop at 6:30pm. Guests will be treated to an "Affair to Remember" with Provocative flowing, an open bar, lavish hors d'oeuvres, live entertainment and multiple viewing screens.
