Bad Monkey To Begin Streaming August 14th

Apple TV+ announced last week they have set the premiere date for BAD MONKEY. This filmed in Florida comedy series is based on the best selling novel by Carl Hiaasen and will globally debut August 14th. The TV series stars and is executive produced by Vince Vaughn. Award winning producer Bill Lawerence ("TED LASSO", "SHRINKING") has developed the show through his Doozer Productions serving as an executive producer and show runner for this team.

The series is 10 episodes with the first two episodes airing on August 14, 2024. Episodes will follow every Wednesday through October 9th.

Bad Monkey is the story of Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn) who has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Florida Keys. After stumbling on a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realizes that if he can prove murder, he'll be back in with the Police Department.  His obstacles are a trove of Florida oddballs and one bad monkey.

The ensemble cast also includes L. Scott Caldwell ("The Fugitive"), Rob Delaney ("Catastrophe"), Meredith Hagner ("Search Party"), Natalie Martinez ("La Promesa del Retorno"), Alex Moffat ("Saturday Night Live," "Holidate"), Michelle Monaghan ("Gone Baby Gone", "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang"), Ronald Peet ("First Reformed"), Jodie Turner-Smith ("Queen & Slim") and Scott Glenn ("The Leftovers"), with special guest star John Ortiz ("Fast & Furious") and guest stars Zach Braff ("Scrubs") and Charlotte Lawrence in her television debut.
