The Lyric Theater once was the epicenter of Miami's Little Broadway. Today, the historic Overtown gem known as the Black Archives Historic Lyric Theater Cultural Arts Complex will be the main venue for the URBAN FILM FESTIVAL from August 30 - September 1, 2024. Three days of events celebrating culturally diverse storytelling and providing a platform for new voices.
The festival is a mix of film screenings, workshops and industry discussions. All of the festival is free and open to the public. The schedule is not up on the festival website, but you can check it out on their

The other venues include the Dorsey Library and the Overtown Performance Arts Center.
