Palm Beach Student Showcase of Films Submission

The 30th annual Student Showcase of Films will open submissions in October 2024. For three decades, the Palm Beach festival is a statewide competition and award show for Florida student filmmakers, graphic designers and digital media artists. The juried competition recognizes high school and college students presenting scholarships and awards.

As a tribute to the legacy of film legend Burt Reynolds, the SSOF presents the Burt Reynolds Scholarship Award, a $5,000 cash prize to a Palm Beach County high school senior. Mr. Reynolds was a local icon, longtime supporter, and frequent presenter at the SSOF. With runners up taking home one of the following prizes; The $1,000 Sara Fuller Scholarship, $1,000 Mel Maron Scholarship, $1,000 Gray Family Scholarship and the $1000 Dr. B. Carleton Bryant Scholarship.
