The Florida Film Festival added a special event screening and Q&A. For Friday, April 18th, they have An Evening with Mia Farrow, which includes a talk with actress Mia Farrow and a screening of Rosemary's Baby.
The 1968 film is a horror classic from Roman Polanski. A young wife comes to believe that her offspring is not of this world. Waifish Rosemary Woodhouse (Mia Farrow) and her struggling actor husband Guy (John Cassavetes) move to a New York City apartment building with an ominous reputation and odd neighbors Roman and Minnie Castavet (Sidney Blackmer, Ruth Gordon). When Rosemary becomes pregnant she becomes increasingly isolated, and the diabolical truth is revealed only after Rosemary gives birth.
The screening event will take place at the Enzian Theater, 1300 South Orlando Avenue, Maitland.
The Florida Film Festival runs April 11-20, 2025.
