Melbourne Festival Entertains with Bollywood Theme

The Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival is this weekend, October 10th and 11th. The theme for this year is "From Bollywood to Hollywood."
The annual festival gets much of its fare from Florida filmmakers and this year is no different. Keeping with the Bollywood theme, Orlando filmmaker Steven Shea shot a music video for recording artist Prita Chhabra's song "Stronger" in Melbourne and it is premiering at the festival. A locally-produced episode of "Real Food Real Kitchens," which features Indian cuisine, is screening. Also on Friday, there will be music by Surbahar, a screening of the feature Bang! Bang!, food from Taste of India and Kingfisher, as well as dancers from the "Stronger" music video.

All screenings take place at Premiere Theaters Oaks Stadium 10 in Melbourne, Florida.
