Valencia Film Program Celebrates 20 Years

Valencia College's Film Program celebrates "20 Years of Cinema Magic" this February for 5 days spanning two weekends. The history of the college's film program will be reflected in the festival screenings. Founded in the late 80's the graduates of Valencia film program occupation titles read as follows:
Camera Assistant
Editor
Lighting Technician
Set Design Assistant
Production Manager
Grip
Sound Technician
Post Production Technician
Academy Award nominated director Peter Spirer is scheduled to attend the festival along with Valencia Film Program alumni who are encouraged to attend.
The festival will be held at the Performing Arts Center at Valencia College East Campus, 701 North Econlockhatchee Trail in Orlando. Tickets can be per film, day pass, weekend pass, and all events pass. Discounts exist for students, senior citizens, and military members.
