Florida Film Fest Announce Giamatti and Reinhold

The 35th Annual Florida Film Festival has announced the 2026 Film Lineup and Schedule set for April 10-19. The Opening Night film is the renegade road trip movie Carolina, Caroline with filmmaker Adam Carter Rehmeier in person for a Q&A. An Evening with... will take place on two evenings, Sunday, April 12 with Paul Giamatti and Friday, April 17th with Judge Reinhold. The Centerpiece Gala will be Jorma Taccone's Over Your Dead Body starring Samara Weaving. The wrap of the festival will be the 75th Anniversary of the Alfred Hitchcock 1951 classic, Strangers on a Train.

Paul Giamatti, Academy Award® Nominee and currently being seen in Season 7 of Netflix's Black Mirror, which earned him a 2026 Golden Globe® nomination for Best Actor in a Limited Series, will be at the festival. He can also be seen in Downtown Abbey: The Grand Finale and in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. Look for him upcoming opposite Julianne Moore in Jesse Eisenberg's feature film No One Cares, as well as in Tom McCarthy's feature The Statement opposite Paul Rudd. Paul Giamatti's Evening with will commence following a screening of the 2004 film Sideways.

Judge Reinhold's career will be celebrated at the festival following a Fast Times at Ridgemont High (1982) screening.  Reinhold will be welcomed that evening as a special guest and being a star for an international audience for over 35 years. He has been in over 75 motion pictures and television roles. He left an impression in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Gremlins, and Disney's The Santa Clause films. Reinhold's films both Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Beverly Hills Cop were voted by the American Film Institute as two of the "Top 100 American Comedies". An Emmy nomination for his performance as "The Close Talker" on Seinfeld, and his guest appearances on Arrested Development received two of the highest ratings on both series.
