Love Your Shorts Film Festival has been a Sanford, Florida event for 17 years running. This February 2027 will be the next showcase of films. You can submit your short film for inclusion in the upcoming February 2027 festival by submitting before the deadline of September 13, 2026.
Films under 30 minutes are accepted and put into blocks for screening. Each block will conclude with a Q and A with filmmakers and the audience. One will advance by audience votes. The final block of films will produce the overall festival winner.
The weekend festival of short films also includes:
- Education Day, designed for seasoned and amateur filmmakers
- Opening Night Party exclusive to filmmakers and sponsors
- Sunday Filmmakers Brunch
- After Party at one of Sanford's famous watering holes
