Flicks on Fairbanks is back on Monday, July 11, 2005 at 8:00 PM with an entirely new line up of local, national, and international indie film and video shorts!

It's cozy, coffee house cinema right here in Central Florida featuring organic beer, wine, coffee, food, film, and semi-witty banter from your host... me!

At the last FOF, there were approximately 100 peeps in house. This time, things may be as crowded, so GET THERE EARLY!

First up, you'll witness an insanely kooky experimental music video from NYC's Jew B. and Milky Whyte entitled Tarzanrubberband (2005). Must be seen to be believed! Directed by Jew B. 2-minutes and 15-seconds.

Tarzanrubberband will be preceded by the world premiere trailer for a local indie feature called Playback (2005) – directed by Michael Bekemeyer. 1-minute & 30-seconds.

London Writer/Director David Palmer will showcase a whimsical 35 MM short called Jetpac Willy (2005). It’s a charming comedy about a daring rocket scientist. 10-minutes.

FOF is proud to welcome back experimental music video maker William Tillis and his brand spank'n new music video Good Day (2005). Tampa, Florida. 4-minutes & 20-Seconds.

FOF is also proud to welcome back writer/director Adam Showen and his experimental vision Catharsis (2003). Featuring the somber, melodic music of Leonard Cohen. 8-minutes.

UK directors Richard Hull and Robert Hull have graced FOF with their amusing short tale about "minding your own business" called The Karmic Wheel of Doo Doo (2005). 3-minutes.

Los Angeles feature film director Philip Cruz of Dead Meat fame will showcase his side-splitting music video Crave (2005). It's sex, food, and R&B. 4-minutes and 52-seconds.

Central Florida director Jose Cassella marries stylish story telling, excellent special effects, and haunting images to create a fantasy-drama in Wish (2005). 12-minutes.

Friends are not what they seem in the 16 MM film Randolph Gently and the Mysterious Animals (2004) directed by Drew Blatman (who shared his hilarious absurdist comedy The Sour Bellies with the FOF audience last October). This beautiful fantasy is a touch of Tim Burton, a sprinkle of magic, and a generous portion of Blatman's witty outlook on life. 13-minutes & 30-seconds.
