The next Uncomfortable Brunch will be at Will's Pub on Sunday, November 5, 2017. This month, the film presented is DEAD RINGERS, a David Cronenberg film. The uncomfortable part comes in the form of gynecological tools and twin brothers who lust for the same woman. Dead Ringers was previously scheduled to screen in September, but Hurricane Irma put a dead end to that.
The film is accompanied by brunch and the menu published for this month is as follows:
Modern American fritata with caramelized onions, mushrooms, spinach, turkey bacon, bell peppers and Gouda. Seasoned hash browns. Vegan classic pancakes.
Vita Luna Cafe will be on site to provide craft coffee and tea to take care of all of your caffeine needs.
The philosophy behind the Sunday funday event is... "watching an academically important but ridiculously uncomfortable art film that every film lover SHOULD watch, just doesn't necessarily WANT to watch with a group."
Tickets are $10 in advance/$12 at the door and available through www.willspub.org or Park Ave CDs. Doors and preshow at 1:00pm, movie at 1:30pm
