The Melbourne Independent Filmmakers Festival is October 18-20, 2018 at Premiere Theaters Oaks Stadium 10 in Melbourne, Florida.
This, the 20th annual festival, will open with a retrospect of the films of the MIFF's 20 year history. The opening night party is themed by you, the participants, dressing in your favorite era 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's and competing for the retro themed costume contest.
This year's special guest is Andy Snipes, a producer, editor, actor and art director. Snipes' film SUPERCON will screen as Friday night's Comedy Feature at 7 pm.
Saturday Florida Filmmakers Matinee will be held at 9 am and seats are ten bucks. Meet the Filmmakers Roundtable will follow at 12:30 pm. Andy Snipes will present Writing for Hollywood from 2 pm - 3 pm. Florida Filmmakers will continue 3 - 5 pm . Social Media Extravaganza red carpet and Awards evening is ahead if you enjoy all the way through Saturday's planned schedule.
