Songwriting - Inspiration behind the Hit Songs
Moderator: Ivan Alvarez - Universal Publishing Latin
The panel will include 4-5 songwriters with major credits. We will announce the songwriters on Wednesday Oct 20th.
Join our distinguished panel for an informal discussion about the inspirations, the influences, techniques and the processes behind writing songs. Genres include rock, hip-hop, R&B, latin, pop and country.
A limited number of attendees will be chosen at random to have their music critiqued by our panel.
CD's only. No tapes. Expect only Up to 1 Minute of Song Played.

Directions:
I-95 south, US-1 south, make right at 57th Ave (Red Road), make quick right
at Ponce De Leon, then make left at light (San Amaro). You are now in UM
campus.
Take San Amaro 1/2 mile or so, after passing huge field and street light,
the next parking lot on your right is for School of Music and School of
Law.
Park in lot, walk towards building towards the lake. Clarke Recital Hall is
right on lake. UM will have several signs posted. It is part of a building
called Volpe.
