Exceptions are February, when Popcorn Flicks serves as the kick-off for United Arts ArtsFest, and March, when Popcorn Flicks occurs during the 2006 Florida Film Festival (March 24-April 2, 2006). The date for the December 2005 Popcorn Flick will not change and will still take place on the third Thursday of the month, December 15 (rain date: December 16). A holiday celebration of the 1934 classic MARCH OF THE WOODEN SOLDIERS (BABES IN TOYLAND) will begin at 7:00 pm. This version of Victor Herbert's beloved Christmas classic stars Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy as two clerks working in Toyland. When sweet Little Bo-Peep spurns the evil Barnaby, he retaliates by exiling her and her sweetheart Tom-Tom to Bogeyland. Now it's up to the comic duo of Laurel and Hardy to rescue the young lovers...

In a special February edition of Popcorn Flicks, audiences are invited to sing along with a retrospective of the great MGM movie musicals. THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT will be screened on Thursday, February 2nd at 7:00 pm as the official kickoff for United Arts ArtsFest, a celebration that launches the United Arts of Central Florida annual campaign. Enzian will be joined in the park by other local arts and cultural organizations with activities starting at 6:00 pm for the whole family. Presented by Bank of America, ArtsFest includes 285 free arts and cultural events held in 48 locations throughout Lake, Orange, Osceola, and Seminole Counties. ArtsFest provides a little taste of everything the arts community has to offer in your own backyard!

The films and popcorn are free and open to the public. Patrons are encouraged to bring a picnic and blanket and enjoy these films under the stars.

Enzian Theater, a nonprofit cultural arts organization, is internationally recognized for offering important and prize-winning films in an environment that stimulates connection with the filmmaker's creative output and connecting the community through film for more than 20 years.
