The award winning Post Production Audio team at i.d.e.a.s. has been tapped to provide dialogue editing, Foley, sound design, mix and layback for Post Central Entertainment's independent feature film, "Cherry Crush", slated for release later this year. The film noir post modern independent feature stars Nikki Reed, of the Fox Television Network's "The OC", who is also co-author and star of the highly acclaimed right of passage feature film Thirteen. The movie also stars Jonathan Tucker, whose credits include Pulse a remake of Kiyoushi Kurosawa's horror classic, Hostage with Bruce Willis and the Soderbergh/Clooney produced feature, Criminal.
Cherry Crush is our first feature and we wanted to choose a Post Audio team that had years of experience, dedication, creativity, and commitment," commented Gary Knaak, Co-Chairman, Post Central Entertainment. "Our roots are in the post production business. We know i.d.e.a.s. not only has the technical equipment and know-how necessary for first-rate sound design, they can back-it up with a talented post production staff." All principal photography and editing have been completed for "Cherry Crush" at Post Central Inc. in Rochester, NY. The post audio project is already under way at i.d.e.a.s. according to i.d.e.a.s. General Manager John Lux.
In addition to this nod from the feature film industry, the i.d.e.a.s. Post Audio team lead by Lux provided final audio post production for the 2005 CBS Golden Globe award winning four-hour mini-series Elvis produced by Los Angeles based Jaffe/Braunstein Films.
