ideas Brings In New Art Director

Thursday, May 11th, i.d.e.a.s. brought on Millo Aldea as its new Art Director. A graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design, Aldea brings a wide variety of experience to i.d.e.a.s., including project management, art direction, illustration and concept development. His tenure includes Studio Head Designer at Leo Burnett (BTW, Leo Burnett just won a 2006 Webby for Best Visual Design - Aesthetic), Assistant Art Director for Latin3.com (Sony's interactive agency for products in Latin America) and Graphic Designer for the Microsoft Network Latin America on-line flagship, YupiMSN.com.

An active participant in the Orlando and Miami Latin communities, Aldea is the creator of the largest on-line salsa dancing community, BornToSalsa.com. Aldea and his wife, Ximena, are currently organizing the Orlando Salsa Congress during which a basketball charity event will raise money for the Puerto Rico-based non-profit, Needy Angels of the World.
