Gasparilla Film Festival Needs Volunteers

The first annual Gasparilla Film Festival will take place February 28 through March 4, 2007 at locations in and around historic Ybor City. There will be over 40 films ranging from features to shorts and comedies to documentaries. Every night, the movie screenings will be followed by a party and on March 2, a special after-party will take place on board a World War II memorial, the USS American Victory, which is docked at Channelside.
The film submission deadline has passed, but it is not too late to register as a volunteer. They are even looking for people to screen some of the DVD's. For more information, go to http://www.gasparillafilmfestival.com.
