Saint Augustine Film Festival is going to kick off 2020 running January 16-19. The festival will take place in three locations in the historic downtown city center. Venues will be an easy five minute walk from each other.
Volunteer opportunities at the festival are available and by committing to two four hour shifts throughout the festival weekend, you can receive pre-festival orientation, a crew t-shirt, and passes to see films. You can get more info on volunteering and sign up here.
The film schedule is still evolving and a variety of international and domestic filmmakers' work will be featured. Many of the films chosen thus far are billed as light-hearted comedies.
This will mark the tenth anniversary of the Saint Augustine Film Festival. Look on the schedule for the opening night party at Lighter Museum on January 17. The Centerpiece Party will be January 18 at the Spanish Quarter. Sunday closing night on January 19 will be at Art in Motion. Gamble Rodgers will screen at the Terminal Tavern and following, the Little Red Train will pick up party goers and and take you to the Art in Motion venue for your own Night of Lights tour, buffet and open bar.
