"Date Night" is an emotional tragedy which ends with a magical crescendo. I'm looking for the LEAD character, male, white, age 30-45 and must be able to convey sadness/heartbreak without saying a word. This is a story of a man who has lost his wife and daughter, and is contemplating suicide.
In 2017, I wrote/directed two films and both lead actresses won "Best Actress" awards at the Orlando Independent Filmmakers award viewings, and I won best original script at both. Date Night is better story than the two that received awards. We have a powerhouse cast already shooting scenes.
This is a non-paid opportunity, and I will be targeting the more prestigious film festivals(TriBeca, SXSW, Sundance). The goal is to garner attention
MUST be able to drive and have access to a car.
We will begin shooting once the lead has been cast.
I will leave this up until the role has been cast. No need to inquire if it has been cast yet.
