‘Anything You Can Do’ takes place during election season when an elderly man tries to out-do a neighbor.
LEROY [MALE LEAD, 70’s]
Leroy, an elderly Black man of few words, is a staunch republican. He is competitive and won’t be outdone by his neighbor of decades, Henry. After his wife died, Leroy doesn’t relate well to people, he finds that showing emotion is hard.
HENRY [MALE, 70’s]
Henry is a stubborn old man with floppy grey hair. He has lived across the street from Leroy for decades, but the men don’t connect the same way they did when their wives were alive. Henry is a serious democrat, celebrates Hanukkah and doesn’t mind some friendly competition between friends.
