Web series breakdown (Dee's Voice):
A comedic series about a woman who has an alternate personality. She has a small group of friends along with a therapist who helps her maintain her sanity.
Casting For:
Doris - Best friend of main character, Quirky, dramatic, flirtatious, unhappily single, comes from money (presents as age 25 or older)
Jalen - Has a weird crush on the main character (the two don't match and it never goes anywhere), voice of reason, loyal, protective, realtor (presents as age 25 or older)
Finn - Good friend of main character, Dead pan attitude, sarcastic, obsessively organized, highly intelligent, computer forensics (presents as age 18 or older, open to all)
Latrese - Good friend of main character, Homey, earthy, nurturing, nostalgic, amazing cook - cafe owner (presents as age 25 or older)
Repeat Appearances:
Maise - mother of main character, complicated relationship, apologetic and overbearing
(presents as age 55 or older - may present as biological or adoptive parent)
Joan Bailey - tough exterior, kindhearted, chief of police (presents preferably as age 45 or older)
Kai - funny, astute, busy, medical examiner (presents as age 35 or older, open to all)
Additional Info:
Set - Will be shot at various locations
Pay - Low 25 hr. /125 full day (no late evenings or nights)
Equipment - Whole Production on some days (Black Magic Camera/Canon Cinema) and as simple as a handheld device for quick scenes (Camera Phone)
Must take instruction well. Easy to get along with others. Dependable
Most recording will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays or early Weekends
