Karst Productions Inc., a Florida-based HD production team has been honored with another significant award. "Water's Journey - The Hidden Rivers of Florida" was honored with the HDFEST "Deffie" for Best Documentary Film presented by Film and Video Magazine, and The HDFEST "Deffie" for Best Cinematography in a HD Documentary Film, presented by On Sight.
The HDFEST tour is the largest HD focused event in history with thousands of attendees from across the globe. The events featured panel discussions with industry experts and HD filmmakers, premieres and presentations of films that had never before been seen in HD format.
Water's Journey - Hidden River of Florida has already garnered several significant international honors and has been broadcast nationally through the PBS system. The River Returns will be presented by WJCT, the PBS affiliate in Jacksonville Florida, who will offer the program nationally to the PBS family in the fall of 2005.
