So what does a William Blake poem have to do with film production in Orlando?
Here's a hint... Blake's 1794 poem The Tyger starts like this:
Tyger! Tyger! burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?
Still don't know?
Burning Bright is the title of the latest movie to shoot at the Universal Studios Backlot with Wayne Morris. And yes, it involves a tiger.
According to a report on Variety.com, the script is based around a 20 year old played by Briana Evigan (Step Up 2 the Streets) and her autistic younger brother. They are trapped in a house with a tiger during a hurricane. Charlie Tahan is playing the brother. He played Ethan, the young boy survivor in I Am Legend.
This is the fifth movie in a year and a half brought to town by Morris. The others are Beethoven: The Reel Story, Ace Ventura Jr., Bring It On: In It To Win It, and Sydney White.
This film also marks the return of former Florida State Film Commissioner Paul Sirmons to the production side of filmmaking. He is the First Assistant Director on this project.
Burning Bright is being directed by Carlos Brooks (Quid Pro Quo). The story was written by Christine Coyle Johnson and Julie Prendiville Roux.
