The Global Peace Film Festival will run physically from September 19 - 25, 2022 with a virtual component happening September 26 - October 2, 2022. Global Peace says what it is. They have been showing films exhibiting themes of peace for about 2 decades.
In addition to the regularly scheduled events, GPFF is getting an exclusive first look at "What Hugh Knew" with Stars North and its Executive Producers. The premiere of the feature length documentary trailer and first look WIP reel will be followed by Q and A.
About WHAT HUGH KNEW: a circle of tight knit surfers, college friends, and family are transformed by the loss of their friend. Tragically this was two weeks before graduation. Remaining crew annually celebrate for more than 37 years now and continue to foster the deep relations, when a myriad of forces start to threaten those relationships.
The film is directed by Todd Thompson and written by Jennifer Bisbee, Susan Stauffer, and Todd Thompson. Producers include Jennifer Bisbee, Mary Shaw, Susan Stauffer, and Todd Thompson. Todd and Stars North has been garnering success with his feature documentary Woman In Motion.
You can catch this Global Peace Film Festival event at the Enzian Theater on September 22, 2022 from 1:30p.m. - 2:30p.m. The Enzian is located at 1300 South Orlando Avenue.
