The Miami Film Festival has announced the lineup for 2023. Opening Night is a screening of "Somewhere in Queens" starring Ray Romano, who will attend, and the Closing Night film will be "The Lost King". The 40th annual Miami Dade College's Miami Film Festival will be held March 3-12, 2023. More than 140 films from over 30 countries have made the schedule of programmed screenings. Tickets have already gone on sale for members and are on sale to the general public on Friday, February 10, 2023.
There will be a combination of IN Theaters screenings as well as online. In person screenings are at Silverspot Cinema in Downtown Miami, Coral Gables Art Cinema and the Bill Cosford Cinema. Virtual films are available to watch on web browsers, mobile devices, Apple TV, Roku, and Android TV via the Eventive App.
The Festival showcases the work of the world's best emerging and established filmmakers to the diverse cosmopolitan community of Miami. Cash awards totaling more than $100,000 are given in competition categories.
