(released

By Douglas Lorah
The Orlando Hispanic Film Festival runs September 16th through the 20th in downtown Orlando. They are bringing more names and faces than any previous year and to top off the current list is Maria Conchita Alonso.
She seems to work mostly in small parts on TV, but she is mostly remembered for her roles in Predator 2 (1990) and The Running Man (1987). Alonso will be in town for the reunion screening of Caught (1996), in which she acts along side Edward James Olmos. Caught is showing Thursday, September 17th at 8:00pm at the Plaza Cinema Cafe. If you want to catch her before the movie, the festival will have the red carpet rolled out by 7pm.
Also attending the festival will be Steven Bauer. He is best known for his role as Manolo Ribera in Scarface. He also played a prominent role in 1989's Gleaming the Cube opposite Christian Slater and has worked non-stop since.
