The Producers from Gravity Films are proud to announce that principal photography for a new feature-film in Central Florida was recently completed. The Whisper Home is a family drama based on The Parable of The Prodigal Son. Filming happened for fifteen days during the month of January this year. A majority of the film was shot in Ocoee.
Director Jaime Velez-Soto and Director of Photography Jose Cassella captured the look for The Whisper Home to tell the gripping story of one family's struggle to learn how to forgive and heal old wounds.
The Whisper Home script was highly reviewed by both The Dove Foundation and Acute Angle Media. Writer Jerry Eisinger joined the cast along with Randy Vaughn, Erin Beute, Randy Molnar and Don Seay. Producer Rus Blackwell served as performance coach on the set to assist actors in their roles.
A final edit is expected to be completed soon. The film's composer Dani Donadi is creating an original score for the film's first reel.
Producers from Gravity Films, including local Alex Diehl, are very excited to use The Whisper Home as an example of the strong talent here in Central Florida.
Production stills and updates about the film can be found at www.TheWhisperHome.com. The Behind the Scenes Video and the trailer for the film will also be posted there shortly.
