Freedom Ride wins July Film Slam

The winner of July's Film Slam was Freedom Ride, an 8 minute short documentary about the therapeutic horseback riding facility on Lee Road next to the old Ben White Raceway.
Freedom Ride was written and directed by Andreyna Sanchez and produced by Aaron West. They can now take their short film to the Brouhaha Film & Video Showcase in December and possibly onto the Florida Film Festival in the spring. Go to FreedomRide.com for information on the non-profit organization.
Second place went to Date Night which was written and directed by Joops Fragale and produced by Michael Long. You can see more work from Joops and Michael at www.386films.com.
